Ramen Shops Craft Dishes Based On Saint Seiya: Legend of Sanctuary
posted on by Chris Nishijima
This month marks the return of the classic manga and anime series Saint Seiya in an all new, CG-animated, feature length film: Saint Seiya: Legend of Sanctuary. In order to help people across Japan prepare for the coming event, nine different ramen shops throughout the country decided to collaborate with the creators of the film to get the creative broth bubbling, each with their own uniquely designed Saint Seiya-inspired dish. The wide menu being put up for consumption is quite the eye-catcher, and looks as delicious as they are visually appealing.
In addition to this, online ramen guide Takumen has put an added incentive on the campaign by offering up a special Saint Seiya goods raffle. Anyone who buys the two serving set of Muttebō Tsukemen Kukyoku's Midsummer Golden Pegasus Curry Soba through their website will be entered in a raffle to win either one of five B2-sized posters or one of five exclusive movie pamphlets. Both prizes will be signed by members of the cast, but one lucky winner will receive a poster signed by Keiichi Satō, the director of Saint Seiya: Legend of Sanctuary.
Of course, if this special ramen festival isn't enough to settle your craving for heavenly eats, you could always check out Lotteria's Saint Seiya Golden Fries. Saint Seiya: Legend of Sanctuary hits theaters throughout Japan starting Saturday, June 21. For more information on the movie, check out the official website.
