Prince of Tennis Valentine's Chocolates Flood Konomi's Office
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
Perhaps against better judgment, the editors of Jump Square magazine reinstated the annual Prince of Tennis character popularity contest. Readers took up the helm again, sending boxes upon boxes of chocolates to Jump Square for their favorite Prince of Tennis character.
Manga creator Takeshi Konomi snapped a picture of his flooded office on February 12 and posted it on Twitter on Tuesday. The staff had to used weightlifting belts to carry the heavy loads of confectioneries.

The staff are still counting the chocolates to determine the winner. In 2014, a total of 131,172 boxes were sent just for the top ten voted characters.
