A pop-up shop selling Kemono Friends merchandise at the Marui Annex building in Shinjuku, Tokyo, was planned to run from April 14 to 27 but sold out of everything except copies of the CD, "Welcome to Japari Park," by the end of the second day. The CDs have also since sold out.
Merchandise included a side-story comic, exclusive t-shirts, an official guide book with an attached Blu-ray disc, tote bags, ceramic coasters, acrylic coasters, mugs, can badges, mini tapestries, key chains, square cushions, pencil cases, mini towels, smartphone cases, hats, CDs, and clear files.
The shop will notify fans via Twitter and the Shinjuku Marui Annex website when new stock comes in. Some of the merchandise may not be re-stocked.
The Kemono Friends anime, which was based on the Nexon smartphone game of the same name, aired from January to March 2017 and was streamed by Crunchyroll. A new video project has been green-lit for the franchise, but details have not yet been released.
