Shueisha is already reissuing its most popular issues as part of its 50th anniversary. Celebrations include contests and a huge, three-part exhibition. What better way is there to enjoy Weekly Shonen Jump than with cozying up on a pillow version of the actual magazine?
7-Eleven locations in Japan will host an Ichiban Kūji lottery with prizes that include pillows of the magazine's most popular issues. The "A" Prize is the 34th issue from 1997 with Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece on the cover. This was the issue that launched the still ongoing pirate adventure series. The "B" Prize is the 51st issue from 1984 with Goku and Bulma from Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball manga on the cover. The "C" Prize is the 43rd issue from 1999 featuring Naruto on the cover. Finally, the "D" Prize is second issue from 2004 featuring Gintama on the cover.
The "E" prize is one aluminum business card holder, the "F" Prize is two mini-notebooks, and the "G" Prize is two clear files selected from 50 different designs. The "Last One" prize is a 1/1-scale notebook replica of 1990's 37th issue and the "Double Chance" prize is a big-size cushion of first 2017 issue.
