Funimation's Senran Kagura Release Does Not Include OVA Episodes
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
North American anime licensor Funimation revealed on its blog on Monday that its release of Senran Kagura: Ninja Flash! will not include six OVA episodes. The company had accidentally listed that the release would include six OVA episodes, but the company noted that it does not have the rights to those extras.
Funimation is shipping its release of Senran Kagura: Ninja Flash! with an English dub in a Blu-ray Disc and DVD combo pack on Tuesday for US$69.99. The release includes all 12 episodes in the series, and also includes episode commentary, promotional videos, Japanese commercials, textless opening and closing songs, a U.S. trailer, and other trailers.
Funimation originally streamed the series as it aired last year, and then revealed in December that it would release the series on home video.
The series adapts the Senran Kagura side-scrolling action game based around female ninjas.
