Crunchyroll to Stream The File of Young Kindaichi Returns 2nd Season

Crunchyroll announced on Thursday that it will stream the second television anime season based on Seimaru Amagi and Fumiya Sato's The File of Young Kindaichi Returns (Kindaichi Shōnen no Jikenbo R) manga as it airs in Japan. The stream will premiere on October 3 at 7:00 a.m. EDT.
The stream will be available in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, the Netherlands, Turkey, Latin America, Spain, and Portugal.
The story's mystery cases will vary in length from one episode to five-episode arcs. In particular, there will be episodes that feature the elaborate criminal tricks of Yōichi Takatō (voiced by Kenichi Ono), "the puppeteer of Hell" who manipulates other criminals for his schemes.
The new season will once again air on YTV, NTV, and other stations on Saturdays at 5:30 p.m., right before Detective Conan. The anime will reunite the cast and staff from the first season:

The File of Young Kindaichi Returns manga launched as a continuation of the original Kindaichi Shonen no Jikenbo (Kindaichi Case Files) manga in 2013. Kodansha published the fifth compiled book volume of Kindaichi Shōnen no Jikenbo R in July.
The File of Young Kindaichi Returns anime's first season series ended last September on NTV. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan.
