posted on by Jennifer Sherman
The February issue of Kadokawa's Young Ace magazine revealed on Thursday that Shinjirō (Fate/Zero, Taboo Tattoo) will launch the Shūmatsu no nosferatu (nosferatu of the End) manga in the next issue on February 2. The "first-rate vampire entertainment" manga's story will center on the nosferatu, who "suddenly appeared like a disaster" and may prove to be the enemies or friends of humans.
Shinjirō ended his Taboo Tattoo manga on June 27, and the 13th and final compiled volume shipped on August 23. Yen Press published the sixth volume in North America in April. The manga inspired a 12-episode anime adaptation that premiered in 2016, and Funimation released the series on Blu-ray Disc and DVD on December 5.
Shinjirō ended his manga adaptation of Gen Urobuchi and Type-Moon's Fate/Zero light novel series on May 2. The series received an extra chapter on June 2. Kadokawa published the 14th and final compiled volume in Japan on August 26, and Dark Horse Comics published the fifth volume in North America on June 27.
